God's Gifts
1 Peter 4:10 - Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful steward of God's Grace.
Some go through life searching for "their gift". Very early on I decided on a career as a Physical Therapy Assistant. It was during this course of study that my gift became very apparent to me. I could relate especially well with the geriatric age population and especially with the most "challenging" personalities. Sometimes when a therapist would evaluate an individual for rehab services, I would hear, 'This is definitely a Debby patient!' Through the years of my life and my profession, the opportunities God has given in those situations has allowed for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual sharing and growth. The joy and blessings have been immeasurable and present during many seasons of my life. God gave me a special gift, but in reality, His gift brought me so much more.
God gifts each of us - seek yours.
