Reflections
They say 40 is the number of completion. Well, it took me until I was almost 40 years old to find a way to truly renew myself. After 20 years of being devoted in my marriage- it was over. Everything I thought I knew about myself changed. But God, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. He taught me the power of believing in his words, even after failing it forward, in front of my children, community and family and friends. All I can say is when I trusted Him he created all things new. Career, city, community, new love and even a new and better version of me with more life.
Prayer
Lord, we thank you for teaching me to speak boldly and for showing me how to make all things new. I pray your sweet spirit surround those who are hurt, and going through life changes to lean on to you and only you. Remind them of the power of your good word and that faith without work is dead. Let them see your love shine on them no matter how hard it gets. In the name of your son Jesus I pray amen.
